Here is a textless version of the first panel of my previous comic.
This is what the panel originally looked like (minus the snow, that's new) before the final adjustments were made to it at the last minute.

Here is the link to the comic: [link]

I removed the statue because I thought it would draw the eye away from Rainbow Dash, I also moved Rainbow Dash more in front of City Hall, because I felt that the sky and tree would make her colors drain into the background more. Both of those problems wouldn't be all that bad, but I needed Rainbow to be the main focus of that panel.

I think it is sized right to be wallpaper, but I'm not sure, I've never made a wallpaper before. But never the less it's my wallpaper right now, and it's a good fit for my screen.
:iconapplejacklieplz: Maybe you should go ahead and download it to test it, you know, just to see if it looks right.

Tell me what you think, is it better as a Wallpaper or as a stand alone image?

Everything looks great, many decoration and different colors make this picture look awesome. Nice thing you saw your mistakes and fixed them, but i find several more.

The tree. The decorations have faintly color compared to the other decorations.
The ground lines. Something doesn't look right to me when i see the lines on the ground on the right side. Maybe they are too close.
The snow on the mountain. Not sure if you wanted it that way but the show looks like it's gonna fall any moment in the middle part of the mountain.

Everything else looks great, i especially love what you did with Derpy :D

It is the correct aspect ratio for most peoples monitors (16:9) however the most common resolution to release a wallpaper in is 1920x1080 (larger 16:9 also works) as it can be downscaled.

That said I always like snow pictures, nice job making me look forward to the first one of the year.
