Here's a funny story that happened to me, that you might get a kick out of.
So today I was randomly surfing YouTube, when I came upon a bronies react video done by acracebest that I hadn't seen before. I love these videos and I was surprised that I hadn't seen it before, this episode in particular was the cupcakes one.
Naturally, being a brony I am familiar with the fanfic and it's surrounding content, but I'm not into grim dark, or gory Mlp fanfics, so I haven't personally read it, or watched any of the videos.
As I was watching it they showed a little bit of one of the cupcakes music videos on YouTube, and the part they showed was nothing like what I had assumed it would be.
It had Pinkie and Rainbow Dash dancing to upbeat music inside of a kitchen, and it looked pretty good.
It cut away at the part where the gore starts, so I had an idea of what was happening off screen, but what was shown didn't seem that bad, and I've seen many gory movies and video games and I'm unable to remember the last time I was affected in any way by gore.
So when the bronies react video was over I decided to go watch that particular cupcakes video...
I wish I hadn't lol. Afterwards I was a little nauseous, not throwing up or anything, just a little queasy. I guess watching a loved cartoon pony get disemboweled is not the same as a hated video game enemy, lol.
Unfortunately the story doesn't end there.
My dad had decided that since it was cold outside he was going to make some chili, but the store was out of any ground chili meat, so he bought a brisket to grind at home. He needed my help because the meat grinder wasn't working right, and this was within 5 minutes of watching the cupcakes video. That would not have been a big deal, I have no problem with meat, it doesn't gross me out and while working I would have forgot about the video shortly, but alas there was one more factor.
My brother and his fiancé had just gotten a new puppy a couple of days ago, guess what they decided to name her... Yep, they went with the name Cupcake.
They had chosen then to try to teach her her name.
So I'm sitting there, fresh off of getting sick from a gory movie for the first time in a very long time, wrist deep in raw meat, grinding it very slowly, all the while the word cupcake is being repeated, over, and over, and over again. I actually had to fight laughing more than I did throwing up, lol.
I couldn't tell them because no one in my family knows about "Cupcakes", and I'd personally like to keep it that way. But I had to tell some one about such a hilarious set of circumstances, and I figured most everyone here would understand that.

Watching: Not cupcakes, that's for sure

Eating: Chili! Yes, I still ate the chili...
That's too funny. Quite the story. You could probably tell that to all of your brony friends. The re-telling value is endless!
I told you net to touch that tiki idol
Now you are doomed to suffer the nauseating wrath of CUPCAKES!!!!
It's definitely a work of art, it conveys emotion. Horrible horrible emotion but emotion nonetheless.
I am pathologically puritanical concerning ponies and I don't know why.
I have no idea why my mind demands it be sacred in a manner I have always regarded as irrational and to be mocked when applied to religion or - until now - fandom. I have one or two very, very flimsy theories.
