- Yes, though neither are confirmed canon, Jack Pot and the orange mare are the closest and best answers we've got.
- Jack Pot was officially implied(though nothing more), so I think he is her dad, but I believe her mom's a different mare because the comic appearance isn't fully canon
- The orange mare from the comic is her mom, but Jack Pot isnt her dad.
- Neither are her parents.

- Yes, there isn't a reason to change/complicate it, they have 'Mondays', and 'Aprils', etc.
- No, they should have horse themed pun names like 'Mareday', 'Neighpril' etc.
- No, they should have more of a fantasy feel to them and be based on their history like in the real world.
- There is actually a canon answer to this poll (please comment if you do have one).
